Judy Gurchak

Judy joined this crazy industry after graduating from Pennsylvania's Slippery Rock University. She started as a freelance production assistant, making coffee, shipping film, assisting with props, wardrobe, talent, locations, ETC, ETC, ETC...

These important experiences gave Judy a valuable perspective on the realities of the commercial film industry. Judy worked for numerous local and out-of-town production companies before taking a full-time position with Przyborski Productions in 1994.

Today, Judy handles all the logistics on Przyborski Productions' projects. She schedules crew, rents equipment, creates shoot schedules, books talent, handles contracts and releases, and overseas the selection of locations, props, and wardrobe. If that's not enough, after the shoot's over, she schedules and coordinates film processing and film-to-tape transfers.

"I consider myself a very organized person. I look forward to the challenges each project brings. Whether we're filming in Pittsburgh, Florida, LA, the Arizona desert, or the mountains of Tennessee, I make sure that everyone and everything is at the right place at the right time!"

Judy and husband, Chuck live in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh with their children, Katrina and Ari plus a Welsh Corgi named "Oliver."
